Proposals due May 17

The City of Saint Paul is now requesting proposals for a Facilitator for Engagement of Native American Tribal Leaders & Organizations for the River Learning Center.

The Mississippi River Learning Center site is in Dakota homeland and within the Bdóte region. Engagement and collaboration with Dakota Tribes, other tribes who have cultural affiliations in the project area, and Native American organizations is critical to creating a well-conceived design for the center.

The selected consultant will work closely with identified and participating Tribal leaders, Tribal Historic Preservation Officers, and Native American organizations to convey the indigenous perspectives, contextual wisdom, and feedback to the City of Saint Paul, Mississippi River Learning Center partners, and the selected Design Team.
