Executive Director Katie Nyberg has accepted a new position and will be leaving the conservancy, effective January 17.
Katie’s leadership over the past two years has helped us take new strides toward a more connected Saint Paul Mississippi riverfront, including progress on the future Mississippi River Learning Center, the Downtown Riverwalk and the East Side River District. We are grateful for her work with the conservancy and wish her the very best in her new role.
Stepping in as interim executive director is Jodi Massey, who will be an excellent addition to our team. Jodi spent the last decade as director for the national non-profit Choose Outdoors and has over 25 years of project management expertise, including extensive experience working in Saint Paul along the Mississippi River. The conservancy will be in good hands. In the meantime, we are beginning our search for the next permanent executive director of the conservancy and will provide updates as we know more.
We are excited about the many things to come in 2025, including the launch of the Downtown Riverwalk this summer and the final design for the Mississippi River Learning Center next winter. Thank you for your support of the conservancy and partnership in revitalizing Saint Paul’s connection to the Mississippi River.
