The City of Saint Paul and Great River Passage Conservancy are working with James Corner Field Operations to create a vision for the future River Balcony – a 1.5-mile walkway along the bluff with connections to the Mississippi River in downtown Saint Paul.

The River Balcony will be a valuable community resource connecting public spaces, civic landmarks and development sites. It will also provide new connections to the river and spark activity and economic development along the riverfront.

Join us for a community open house on Saturday, June 25, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Kellogg Mall Park in downtown Saint Paul. Attendees will be able to review refined design concepts and provide feedback, with opportunities to engage with project team members, ask questions and take a short survey. Walking tours along two looped routes of the future River Balcony will occur at 11 a.m., 12 p.m. and 1:00 p.m., and the K-Town Street Foods food truck will be onsite from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will also be interactive play activities for children. Attendees are welcome to wear masks, though they are not required.
